About Sandbach Round Table No. 201 Area 22

Sandbach Round table is open to men aged between 25 and 45 and for women there is "Ladies Circle", which is part of the same
organisation,

Round Table members generally meet two Thursdays out of each month, as well as take part in the occasionally weekend activity or social event.

Recent events have included Cycling, Camping, Curry nights, Quiz
nights and Sports nights - to name but a few.

The first Round Table was formed in Norwich in 1927 by the founder, Louis Marchesi. Our Sandbach Round Table was formed in 1948 and is still going strong and is about to enjoy its 60th Charter in November 2008. There currently is a growing number of more than 20 active & prospective members in Sandbach Round Table, who meet twice a month for Fun, Fellowship and ambitious Fund Raising.

Round Table "Aims & Objects"

  1. To develop the acquaintance of young men through the
    medium of their various occupations

  2. To emphasise the fact that one's calling offers an excellent
    medium of service to the community

  3. To cultivate the highest ideals in business, professional and
    civic traditions

  4. To recognise the worthiness of all legitimate occupations
    and to dignify each his own by precept and example

  5. To further the establishment of peace and goodwill in
    international relationships

  6. To further these objects by meetings, lectures,
    discussions and other activities
