Sandbach Round Table Charity Beer Festival Back by Popular Demand...

Drinkers will be able to sample 20+ barrels of real ales, stouts & traditional ciders when they attend an annual charity beer festival.

The event, now in its third year, has been organised by Sandbach Round Table & will take place on Fri 10th & Sat 11th October at Sandbach Cricket Club, Hind Heath Road in Sandbach.

Neil McPherson, who heads up the organising committee said, "The event is not just for beer drinkers. It's a great evening out for young, old, male, female, everyone, with live bands on both evenings & music throughout the night. Furthermore the Cricket Club bar will be open for those non-ale drinkers.

Over the past two years the Beer Festival has raised nearly £12,000 & had prided itself by selecting beers produced in the local area. All profits from the Beer Festival go to local charities in & around Sandbach.

Tabler Andy Saint added: "We can't do this without the support of the people of Sandbach & the surrounding area, the sponsors of the event, the breweries & all the volunteer help. This is a brilliant community event, with a fantastic atmosphere."

"We're looking forward to another successful Beer Festival this year, because there are a lot of people that really appreciate & benefit from the money we raise."

The festival will be open from 7.00pm to midnight on both nights, tickets are on sale now at just £5.00 each which includes a free glass, first drink & access to the live entertainment arena.

The entertainment will consist of two music acts, and the two bands playing will be; "The Sicknotes" on Friday and tribute band, "The Blues Brothers" on the Saturday.
