Thespians' Hong Kong tour gets a boost

Young
thespians at a South Cheshire school have received a cash
boost to their stage ambitions.
Sandbach
School Theatre received the cheque for £500 from the town's Round
Table at a special presentation ceremony last week.
The Theatre
group is currently preparing its production of A
Midsummer Night's Dream, which will be performed at the Edinburgh
Festival in August 06 and tour of schools in Hong Kong in October
06.
It will be
accompanied by Greek Tales written by Andy Cargill, and
specifically Oedipus at at Edinburgh, featuring a range of legends
brought to life through theatre techniques for the Hong Kong
visit.
More than 80
participants are involved in the two ventures and the
group expressed its gratitude to the Round Table in helping it on
the
way to its £20,000 fund raising target.
